pilates with dr. simone girardi

Pilates offers a precise and scientifically supported training method that strengthens the body from the inside out. Through controlled movements and mindful breathing, Pilates activates deep stabilizing muscles, improves posture, and enhances flexibility while building strength without strain.

This focused practice also increases body awareness, supports balanced muscle development, and promotes efficient movement patterns—helping to prevent injury and improve overall mobility. Pilates is widely used to complement athletic performance, aid in rehabilitation, and support long-term physical and mental wellbeing.

Pilates is both an intensive and gentle full-body strength training method. The focus lies on the core – the "powerhouse" – which remains engaged throughout the session. Controlled movements target the pelvic floor, abdominal and back muscles. To maximise effectiveness, we use Pilates equipment such as the Reformer, Cadillac and Chair. These tools improve feedback, enhance movement learning and increase training efficiency.
